一代優過一代 覆蓋板

臺北捷運大都位於市區馬路下方,施工期間必須鋪設覆蓋板以維持交通安全及順暢。早期覆蓋板採用鋼製,即使表面有止滑方格(第1代),雨天仍造成機車打滑的危險。有鑑於此,本局於91年起全面改採預鑄複合式覆蓋板,此為第2代覆蓋板,有效降低了交通意外事故的發生。93年又考量第2代覆蓋板表面顏色過淺,交通標線不夠清楚,研發將黑色色料摻入混凝土中,改良覆蓋板為仿瀝青路面型式,此為第3代覆蓋板。

 

經過兩年的使用與觀察,無論第2代或第3代覆蓋板,板頂部仍留有寬約2公分的金屬邊框,必須經常塗抹防滑劑,避免機車滑倒,經長期使用頂框會出現剝離,對用路人仍有危險。本局於95年再度研究如何消弭這些缺點,終於研發出無頂框深色複合式覆蓋板,為第4代覆蓋板。

 

第4代覆蓋板為四邊鋼板包覆裡面為鋼筋混凝土之無頂框複合型覆蓋板,不僅有效解決以往覆蓋板標線不清造成機車行駛容易打滑或滑倒事故,特殊的防擠壓設計也減少了覆蓋板擠壓產生噪音或造成邊緣破壞的情形。加上完善的製成管制與現場精準安裝,路面平坦IRI(國際粗糙度指標)值經中央大學實驗室測試達4m/Km以下,提供前所未有舒適、安全的覆蓋板道路品質。

 

未來本局將繼續研究潛盾隧道出發到達井上方「止水型覆蓋板」防止暴雨湧入損害隧道與機具,並考慮路口不同方向車輛能同樣抗滑性之多向性紋路研究,希望可提供國內其他公共工程及產業界之更多參考選擇。

Steel Cover Plates Get Better and Better

Most of Taipei MRT lines are constructed beneath existing roads in downtown Taipei. To keep traffic flow smooth in the vicinity of construction sites, decks using steel cover plates are required during construction. Through surveys of opinions from the general public and experts, DORTS is dedicated to innovations regarding the steel cover plates adopted for cut-and-cover construction, aiming to make the decks smoother, safer, and easier for maintenance.
In the future, DORTS will engage in developing water-resistant steel cover plates, which will be used above shield tunnel access shafts where a shield tunneling machine is launched and/or enters, to prevent storm rain from gushing in and to avoid damage to both the shield tunnel structure and equipment.

In addition, a study of developing steel cover plates bearing properties of slip resistance and cross-graining for the safety of vehicles at intersections is also our concern. DORTS hopes the innovations will provide domestic public civil engineering agencies and members of private industry with a wider variety of choices.
